You can visit the facebook event for next week’s webinar here.
As part of our community response plan, we have partnered with the Raglan Business Chamber to support our local business community.
We have had an amazing offer from two local specialists:
Human Resources Consultant, June Penn and Contract Financial Analyst and Manager, Stephen van Wonderen
If you have questions about how to navigate HR & Financial best practice through the current business circumstances brought on by COVID-19, join us for this FREE exclusive webinar. Register your attendance here (even if you can’t make it, register anyway to be able to easily access the recording afterwards):
Thanks to Raglan Local Energy for helping us organise this online forum. We will share the link to connect prior to the day.
In the meantime, please fill out this short survey to give Stephen and June a better idea of what questions you may have and where you are at with your business so they can put the most applicable presentation together.
Work to Activate the Domestic Visitor Market Underway
It’s not all doom and gloom for the outlook of Raglan’s visitor economy.
The domestic visitor market makes up approximately 75% of the tourism spend in Raglan. Fortunately Raglan sits comfortably within a 3 hrs drive access to over 1/2 of Aotearoa’s population. We are better positioned than most to benefit from the new ” NZ Staycation” travel paradigm coming under the next Alert Level 2 and beyond.
The Raglan Community Response Business Support Committee along with the Raglan Business Chamber will be working closely with our regional tourism organisation, Waikato Tourism, to activate the domestic travel market. Already Waikato Tourism has begun the “Mighty Local” marketing campaign which includes the principles of shopping and traveling local.
Going forward these principles will be aligned with the Raglan Naturally objectives and values which gives our community an opportunity to reset our visitor proposition for the better.
Our Business Support team through shared contacts and knowledge connected Topcut Butchery with a development team to create a website which is now live and ready to go, www.topcutbutchery.co.nz – a great example of collaboration.
